For those 8th graders that are getting onto this site-- I want to tell you how proud I am of all of you. I know that you are nervous and anxious about leaving Madison and heading to the high school, it is the fear of the 'unknown'. However, each and everyone of you have strong characters, wonderful personalities, and brilliant heads on your shoulders, so you all will take North Platte High School by storm! I have a great amount of confidence in each of you. I know I shouldn't say this... but... your class was truly one of a kind... and of course, my favorite! Sorry 6th and 7th graders! :) You all hold a place in my heart--- which is only right since you were my first class ever at Madison! :)
On to why this is a site that you should visit...I am going to use this blog as a means to communicate with all of you, my former Madison students. My hope is to revamp the look and then begin adding details about Baku, Azerbaijan and the students I will be working with there. I will also be a great place for you to ask questions, update me on the 'happenings' of North Platte, the high school, and Madison. I don't want to lose touch with anyone because you all mean a great deal to me.
I was also thinking that it would be great if you did some research on Baku, Azerbaijan. You could possibly find some places that you would like me to visit and take pictures of... and I will try my hardest to do just that, then post pictures for you to see and comment on.
If anyone wants or needs to reach me, you may also contact me through e-mail: to be given later :)
It has been such a great pleasure working with each and everyone of you. I really love Madison and will miss it immensely!!
